What’s a typical MMA Fitness and Conditioning class like?

Our Absolute MMA Fitness and Conditioning classes are scheduled for 60 minutes but some classes may not use up the full 60 minutes. There are different factors involved such as the intensity of the exercises as well as the type of exercises that affect total class time.

Classes start with a 10-minute warm-up to get your body warm and ready. This is often done with running/jogging or jump rope followed by a mobility exercise.

The core portion of the workout can include a range of exercises such as the following:

  • Medicine ball slams
  • Deadlifts
  • Body weight squats
  • Barbell squats
  • Push-ups
  • Assault bike rounds
  • Pull-ups
  • Kettlebell swings

If you’re new to an exercise, you don’t need to worry. Your coaches and teammates will help you understand basic techniques so you can perform each exercise safely. You’ll find yourself being pushed to new limits in a way that you feel encouraged and supported. We focus on getting better together because we can accomplish amazing things when we work together.

Experience workouts customized for combat sports

If you’re wanting to compete or at least be in the best shape possible for combat sports, our MMA Fitness and Conditioning class is for you. The different movements we train help you be ready for the classes and competitions you’ll face in Martial Arts like Judo and Muay Thai.

You’ll be able to develop physical attributes like explosiveness, range of motion, and more for fighting. This is all thanks to the fact that we take the guesswork out of physical fitness for you so you can focus on getting better.
